U12 County Finals settled in glorious weather

The U12 County finals were decided on Sunday 20th September in glorious weather – the perfect day for camogie.

The U12 A Final was an all Westport affair as the panel has 2 teams playing, and they finished top in the league. The Cathair na Mart and Naomh Padraig teams served up an amazing match at Westport GAA Club. Strong play from all the girls on the pitch and the skill level was very impressive.

A very entertaining match from the throw in with high scores and tough challenges all around the pitch.

The Westport Naomh Padraig team came away winners in the very tight battle at the final whistle.

The U12 B final in Castlebar was again a tight match with great play at every position.

Castlebar Mitchels and Na Brideoga players were all keen for success and it showed in the play.

Castlebar were winners in the end with the final score 4:5 to Na Brideoga’s 5:0

Well done to all. Every player was a great ambassador for the game of camogie and we eagerly look forward to new season in 2021.
