The Mayo U14 team had a long journey to Omagh in Co Tyrone to play in the National U14 Development Games yesterday.
The game was exciting and Tyrone had a great start. However Mayo came out after the first water break with renewed energy and put some more scores on the board. Both teams played really well and Mayo had a fantastic second half.

The players’ tenacity saw them fighting for every ball right until the final whistle blew doing their green & red jersey proud.
Just two scores separated the teams in the end, following a last minute goal for Tyrone.
While Tyrone took the victory, both teams showed great skill and sportsmanship and the future for camogie in both Tyrone and Mayo is looking very bright as all these young players continue to develop their skills and game experience.
Thanks to all who made the long journey north and Omagh for hosting the game. Thanks also to Conor Farrell for taking photos on the day.
