While it was raining mostly in the rest of Mayo, the sun was shining today in Tooreen for the Mayo U12 Development League Final with Na Brideoga taking on Castlebar.
Both teams had shown great promise all through this year’s U12 League and the final was going to be an exciting one.
From the very start of the match the pace was fast and both teams were strong, skillful and determined.
While it was Castlebar’s day on the scoreline, Na Brideoga played great camogie and challenged for every ball. The skills shown by each player on the field of play was very impressive and no doubt the future of camogie is very bright.
Congratulations to Castlebar on becoming 2021 U12 Mayo Development League Champions.
Lots of these girls will be moving onto U14 next year and we wish them well and look forward to seeing them progress.
