The step up to the Premier Junior Championship this year was no surprise to anyone in Mayo Camogie circles with the team having won the Nancy Murray Cup in 2021 and the Division 4 League title earlier this year. On Saturday last the team travelled to meet Clare in Cusack Park in Ennis for their opening fixture in this year’s Glen Dimplex Premier Junior Championship.

Thanks to becoming Nancy Murray Cup Champions in 2021, Mayo now play in the Premier Junior Championship in 2022. Their opening fixture is this Sunday at 2pm in Cusack Park, Ennis where they take on the Banner.

All roads lead to Kinnegad on Sunday and Coralstown GAA where Mayo will take on Wicklow in the Littlewoods Ireland Division 4 Final at 1pm.
Mayo have reached the final unbeaten in the League and have already met Wicklow and will be pulling on that match experience to hopefully succeed and bring home the Division 4 title.
The match will be officiated by Louise Reilly from Cavan.
