2007 Gala Junior Camogie Blitz
In 2007 Mayo hosted the Gala Junior Camogie Blitz in Tooreen & Aughamore. Teams from Mayo, Donegal, Monaghan, Carlow and Europe were represented on the day – 25th August.
Liz Howard, Uachtaran Cumann Camogaiochta na Gael at the time, acknowledged that the Championship Blitz was a great opportunity for counties to complete for All Ireland honours.
