In January, Mayo Camogie want you to get moving for 2,021 seconds every day! It’s just 34 minutes and by doing so you will be getting active and supporting Mayo Camogie.
Mayo Camogie supports the development of Camogie within Mayo. There are teams of dedicated officers, coaches, managers and more who volunteer across the county to promote, encourage and support the playing of our national game.
This takes many forms including;
- Supporting the four camogie clubs in the county
- Supporting county teams from Under 14 up to Adult
- Encouraging the playing of camogie by engaging with schools
How can you support Mayo Camogie?
Run, walk, jog, cycle, swim, skip, play games, practise skills – so many options!
You can take part in our fundraiser #Move4MayoCamogie and donate via the link below.
You don’t have to be a camogie player or connected to a club – this is for everyone! Get active for January in any way you like and share our link with those who might like to support your efforts in aid of Mayo Camogie. Share the fundraising page on social media and don’t forget to use the tag #Move4MayoCamogie so that we can see what you are up to!
All monies raised will go towards supporting the development of camogie within Mayo with 15% of total monies raised from this campaign donated to the National Breast Cancer Research Institute – to support their good work.
We will keep track of, and in touch with, all our the participants that register and update their great activities here on our website.
